Magellanica Guides runs a 7-day Backcountry Skiing trip in the Nevados de Chillán massif. The terrain around and beyond the old Nevados de Chillán Ski Area offers varied, open and unique storm runs, sometimes elusive in the Andes.
You could soak at the local hot springs every day and try and backcountry ones while touring. Only 5 hrs south from the Santiago international airport, becomes the perfect alternate to the central Andes BC skiing zones.
